Very productive meeting with Arkansas Education Commissioner Johnny Key, his staff, Rep. Fran Cavenaugh State Representative District 60, Hoxie Mayor Lanny Tinker, Hoxie School Superintendent Kelly Gillham, and members of Hoxie The First Stand Committee today regarding the proposed Civil Rights Museum and inclusion of the Hoxie story in Arkansas history books. Hoxie School was the first challenged integration following Brown v. Board of Education.
