It has been a privilege and honor to serve the people of district 60. Since the beginning of my campaign in 2015, I have promised to fight for the people of our great state, and I plan to continue delivering on that promise. We’ve made progress but we still have much work to do. I want to continue that by working for the people of District 60 and all of Arkansas. This is why I am seeking re-election.
During my time as State Representative, I have stood up for families and Arkansas communities by voting to protect life, gun rights and voting to increase educational opportunities for all Arkansas children. I voted to pass the second largest tax cut in Arkansas history, which resulted in a $50 million tax cut for low-income Arkansans.
I believe we have to keep Arkansas moving forward by limiting big government by reducing spending, improving education and training opportunities and creating an environment for businesses to be successful.
It is my honor to serve as chairperson of the Joint Budget Committee on Claims and the chairperson of the House City, County & Local Affairs – House Finance Subcommittee. I also serve on the Joint Committee on Advanced Communications & Information Technology, the House Education Committee, and the House City, County & Local Affairs Committee.
I want to thank my husband, Donald, and our employees for their support and sacrifice that allows me the opportunity to serve the great people of District 60 and Arkansas. I hope you will give me the opportunity to continue to serve you.
