The House passed 11 reappropriations for various agencies this afternoon. Reappropriations are for ongoing projects so agencies can carry over money from one fiscal year to the next. The bills do not contain any new funding.
The Joint Budget Committee advanced more than 40 appropriation bills this morning. Most of the bills, now making their way to the House floor, are for various state boards.
A memorial resolution to honor our late parliamentarian Tim Massanelli will be presented on the House floor on Thursday. Mr. Massanelli served in our Capitol for nearly 40 years.
