Daily Update – Mar 30

The House Revenue and Taxation Committee advanced legislation requiring online retailers that make more than $100,000 in annual sales to collect sales tax on purchases in Arkansas. This bill is now heading to the full House for a vote.

The House passed SB724. This bill would restrict concealed carry into certain events if a security plan is submitted to state police at least 5 days before the event. This legislation provides the exemption for college athletic events, UAMS, and the Arkansas State Hospital.

The Governor has now signed close to 750 pieces of legislation into law. We are in the final days of the session. The House will reconvene on Friday at 10 a.m.
