There were 626 new cases and 5 deaths reported at today’s COVID-19 daily update. Hospitalizations have decreased by 7.

The Governor said school sports will continue with the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) schedule. The department of health has issued guidelines for indoor and outdoor venues for sporting events. The guidelines call for social distancing, use of masks, and limiting entry to 66% capacity.
ADH will also be issuing more specific guidance for bands and music teams.
The Governor announced he has signed an Executive Order extending the public health emergency for another 60 days.
