📍Out of 3,321 total cases:
1,284 are active
1,973 are recovered
95 currently hospitalized
23 currently on ventilators
3 new deaths (64 total)
23 of total deaths have been nursing
home related
229 nursing home resident positives
142 nursing home staff positives
40 active nursing home investigations

📍Creating a COVID-19 Dental Advisory
Group. They will meet next week.

📍Forrest City Fed Correctional Institute:
135 inmates are positive

DR MICHELLE SMITH, DIR OF HEALTH EQUITY & HIV ELIMINATION:

📍We know there are social determinantsthat impact health and minorities have been hit by this virus at a disproportionate rate.

📍We’ve formed a partnership with the AR Black Hall of Fame. They have a COVID relief initiative, offering grants to address hardships. They are also providing cloth masks for those who need them.

📍On May 5th from 6-7:30pm, there will be a free seminar to help barbershops and beauty salons keep themselves and their clients safe from COVID-19.
