On Thursday, the House passed HB1340. This bill seeks to have veteran disability benefits excluded as income for eligibility for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by directing DHS to seek a federal waiver.
The House also passed HB1344 which sets the minimum container size for liquor bottles to be sold in stores at 50 milliliters.
In addition, the House passed HB1335. This bill would allow cities with a population of fewer than 50,000 with a mayor-council form of government to appoint the city attorney by ordinance in lieu of holding an election.
The House will reconvene on Monday at 1:30 p.m.
